Background
Dr. Steven Altawil graduated from New South Wales University in 1997.
Steven has worked in different specialties within major hospitals in Sydney and Brisbane and then worked in a rural General Practice for 1 year. He has been practicing as a general practitioner since 2000.
Over the course of his 21 years as a General Practitioner, Steven has worked at Durack Medical Centre, Taringa Medical Centre (IPN), and was appointed Medical Director at Blunder Rd Medical Centre (Helius).
His passion for medicine and the care of his patients, and their ongoing support and loyalty, has allowed Dr Altawil to pursue his next adventure, and that is to establish a medical centre within a traditional beautiful Queenslander home, ‘Altawil Medical Centre’.
Personality
Steven will also be mentoring medical students from University of Queensland and Griffith University.
Steven is a devoted husband and father of 5, enjoys boating and fishing, classic cars, antique furniture.
